I am only a month and a half behind but who’s keeping track? August is such a love/hate month for me. I love it because it’s finally super hot here in Pennsylvania and I live in the pool the whole month. It’s also my birthday month which is an added bonus. I hate it because it means back to school for my husband (I luckily have another year with Sydney before she starts kindergarten) and everyone fast forwards through August into Fall as if it’s not still summer. AUGUST IS STILL SUMMER PEOPLE! Keep your pumpkin spice, leaves falling craziness to yourselves until September, please! For August, I decided to do a firefly theme with my purple accents (my favorite). Let’s dive into the August 2021 Bullet Journal Set Up.

August 2021 Cover Page
I was really excited about how my July 2021 bullet journal cover page turned out. I finally got the washi tape title trick to turn out nicely for the first time. It’s such a struggle for me and I don’t know why! hahaha. I free-handed the fireflies and really enjoyed using my new Tombow pens I got from TJ Maxx this month as well. I did use a new stencil this month that features some fireflies, a medium-size mason jar, and some lightbulbs. Check it out HERE at the shop.

As much as I love how my cover page, I think I love how this one turned out even more. I love how the Tombow brush pens blended together on the right side. I just used my normal ruler for the lines on this and then pulled out my mini stencil for my social media tracking at the bottom. You can find that stencil in the Shop as well.
August 2021 Bullet Journal To Do List and Habit Tracker
I kept this page really simple again this month. These were really functional last month and I really appreciate how easy they are to set up since I am super short on time normally. The thing that I really like is how the habit tracker looks at the end of the month. I’ll do a flip through if I ever end up completing the month so you all can see it.
