Hey guys! Welcome back to another plan with me. Of course, I am behind— I guess that’s the beauty of working two jobs and having an almost 5-year-old. I’m super excited to share my Hogwarts themed bullet journal set up I did for the month of September. I feel like I do Harry Potter themes every September because the students go back to Hogwarts on the first day of September. I’m not sure why I don’t make it a point to watch Harry Potter every September but we usually watch it closer to Thanksgiving and Christmas for some weird reason. Let’s dive in.

Cover Page

For as simple as this cover page looks, it sure took a lot of time. I thought it would be fun to kinda see Hogwarts through Harry’s glasses. I made the glasses using the Circles and Squares Stencil from The Bosh Blog Shop. It’s super versatile and worked great for the glasses. I love the outline of Hogwarts so much. It’s definitely one of my favorite things I’ve done.

Calendar

I have a love/hate relationship with this page. I wanted to stay true to Hogwarts and chose to theme this page around the Hogwarts houses. I love the crest at the top left and the listing of the houses down the left and the corresponding attribute of each house. The thing I hate about this spread is that I chose to continue with the colors of each house and it turned into an elementary school primary color nightmare. It’s fine, really. It’s just one of those beautiful things about bullet journaling, the fact that you can try new things and learn what you like and dislike throughout the process.

To Do List and Habit Tracker

So this month, I tried to get fancy with my titles for my to-do list and as usual, I failed. I don’t know why I keep trying the washi tape in the middle of the title deal but I’m sure one day I will master it if I keep trying. I kept the same habit tracker and reading log this month again. It’s just super easy and convenient. Maybe I’ll do a flip through so you can see it all filled out.

Mood Tracker

This is my favorite spread of my Hogwarts themed bullet journal set up. I don’t typically do a mood tracker but I’ve been feeling a lot of anger and blah-ness lately so I thought this would be a fun way to fill the empty page in my journal for this month. For those of you who don’t know, this is how they keep track of the house points in the Harry Potter series. I thought that it would be great that every day I would notate my mood in one of the columns with some of the colored beads. Now that I think about it, I will definitely do a flip through for this so you can see the finished product.

Pro-Tip: Always sketch your spread with a pencil first to make sure your spacing is how you want it.
