January 2020 Bullet Journal Cover

I don’t know about you, but I am super happy January is over. Apparently everyone else also felt like January was the longest month of the year as well! Not to dwell on January any longer than we have to, but I wanted to share with you my January 2020 Bullet Journal Flip Through.

Taking a Closer Look

Monthly Spread

This monthly spread was probably one of the funnest spreads of done in my bullet journal, but it also turned into a hot mess. I got a couple of new stencils from Oops a Daisy during her Black Friday sale and I couldn’t wait to try them.

Everything started out perfectly. Until I realized I traced too many boxes for the calendar. So then I went to white out some of the lines but then realized my planner was upside down! Then I had to redraw lines… it was crazy. I also messed up on the penguins. I originally had the faces on the black part of their bodies and had to color them in and redraw them on the white. Despite all of the errors, I think it still came out pretty good and is one of my favorite spreads in January.

Monthly Goals

Another favorite spread of mine in January was my Monthly Goals page. I got this idea again from Oops a Daisy. This year she has partnered with Snail Scribbles to bring us some awesome coloring pages. I loved this coloring page because it relates back to my Word of the Year, Grow. I love coloring and really enjoyed using it to show some achievements for the month.

New Weekly Layout

Lastly, I came across a new layout for my weekly spreads. I always like something that is basic and minimal. The quicker it is to throw together the happier I am. I love how the colors look together and I love the running lists. Everything is just easy to get to and utilize.
